The PGA WORKS Fellowship is designed to create an all-inclusive experience for young professionals who are ready to kickstart their career in the game of golf. The Fellowship provides a six-month, paid immersion in a PGA Section’s operations designed to help foster development and a new skill set in all facets of the golf industry. It’s a chance to grow, learn and gain valuable experience in an expanding business.
PGA of America University Programs across the country are preparing the next generation of PGA of America Members. Our John & Tamara Lundgren Scholars Program awards $8,000 in financial assistance to students who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds who are pursuing a PGA Golf Management University Program degree. Applications are now open for the 2025 Program.
Formerly known as the National Minority Collegiate Championship – the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship (PWCC) is the most culturally significant championship in collegiate golf. Founded in 1986, the inspiration from the event stemmed from elevating the game at minority colleges and universities. For more than 30 year, the PWCC has set the largest stage for student-athletes to comepete at the highest level.
PGA WORKS Beyond The Green is our signature career connection event held in conjunction with select PGA of America Championships where students from the host community can explore what golf and other industries can offer. Beyond The Green strives to make a sustainable impact in our host championship markets by partnering with local organizations to provide students access to industry leaders, executives and influencers so they can pursue careers in golf and beyond.
