FRISCO, Texas and ORLANDO, Florida (January 21, 2025) - PGA HOPE Day returns to the 2025 PGA Show on Thursday, January 23, 2025, to recognize and celebrate the flagship military program of the PGA of America REACH Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Association.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. In 2024, more than 17,000 Veterans were served, with the help of over 550 programs located in all 50 states. More than 50,000 Veterans have been impacted by PGA HOPE since the inception of the program in 2015.

The PGA Show, the world’s longest running and largest gathering of the global golf industry, will take place January 21-24, 2025, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando and help kick off the 10th anniversary of the Veteran-focused program, a key program pillar of the PGA of America REACH Foundation.

PGA HOPE Day is dedicated to recognizing the PGA of America Golf Professionals who make PGA HOPE’s mission possible and to celebrate the program’s success with the golf industry. Participating PGA of America Golf Professionals are trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency: To date, more than 4,000 are certified.

“PGA HOPE is not only changing lives, but saving lives,” said PGA of America President Don Rea Jr., PGA Master Professional and Owner/Operator of Augusta Ranch Golf Club (Arizona). “I’m grateful for our PGA of America Golf Professionals who are certified and implore our entire membership to make it a priority. The impact PGA HOPE has on local communities across the country, and more importantly the lives of our Veterans, is one of the most meaningful things we do. I’m delighted to see PGA HOPE in the spotlight once again at the PGA Show.”

PGA HOPE Day will include:

  • A PGA Show Sweepstakes for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind USA Ryder Cup Captain’s Golf Cart from Club Car
  • “Thank you” gifts to all PGA HOPE Certified PGA of America Golf Professionals
  • PGA HOPE Veteran Ambassadors engaging with PGA Show attendees
  • PGA Show Winter Jam Concert, supported by adidas and Corebridge Financial, headlined by THIRD EYE BLIND

The PGA Show Sweepstakes, managed by US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Co. and open until January 24, offers PGA Show attendees and the public a chance to win a one-of-a-kind USA Ryder Cup Captain’s Golf Cart from Club Car. Proceeds from the sweepstakes will directly benefit PGA HOPE. Every $330 raised will support a Veteran or Active Duty service member to experience the life-changing and life-saving effects of golf through PGA HOPE. A donation is not required to enter the sweepstakes. For more information, click here.

Additionally, PGA HOPE is the charitable beneficiary of the second annual PGA Show Winter Jam, an after-hours concert experience in THE | RETREAT on the Show Floor, located in Hall E of the Orange County Convention Center. Veterans, Active Duty Military, PGA HOPE certified PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA HOPE Ambassadors and PGA HOPE graduates registered for the PGA Show will be honored as special guests. The concert is not open to the public.

The PGA HOPE booth will be featured in the PGA of America Hub directly inside the main entrance of the Show Floor with a wall celebrating the 10-year anniversary as well as the names of the more than 1,500 certified PGA of America Golf Professionals who instructed HOPE programming in 2024.

PGA of America Golf Professionals who instruct in PGA HOPE are encouraged to visit the booth to receive a special “thank you” gift. Association Members interested in serving PGA HOPE’s mission are encouraged to meet with staff and Ambassadors onsite for more information.

The 72nd PGA Show will bring together thousands of PGA of America Golf Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world who will source new products from more than 1,000 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops and connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf. Organized by the PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, the PGA Show begins on Jan. 21 with the PGA Show Demo Day at Orange County National Golf Center and moves to the Convention Center, Jan. 22-24, for exhibits and a full schedule of industry events.
